Surviving Behind Enemy Lines (book 2)

Earth had hosted humanity for several thousand years.  Hostility between the nations had erupted into open warfare in almost every century.  Man had evolved from cavemen to people wielding lasers and nuclear and biological weapons.

World wars with entire continents of the planet united against other continents had taken place three times in the past.  Earth seemed on the verge of extinction during the fourth world war.  The world was engulfed in man’s final test of each other’s battles for total domination.  On one side, it would equate to destruction or complete servitude to the winner.

Acts of desperation forced ships into the night toward the stars.  Man ventured ‘To the Stars’ in search of a future peace for humanity and, more importantly, the continuation of society.  As the colony ships left Earth - two for Mars and two for Alpha Centauri - Earth was on fire.

The Mars trip ended in a battle for landing rights on Mars. The Block and Confederation colony ships battled high above Mars for landing rights.  Confederation forces fought to live. Block forces fought to exterminate.  Mars would be a colony of Earth; survivors had landed on Mars.

Upon entering the Alpha Centauri system, an untimely encounter with pirates forces the colony ship to flee Alpha Centauri.  While avoiding the pirates, they enter a wormhole and travel it until they exit in Andromeda, the home system of the ShanTu.  The ShanTu help humanity by saving them from the pirates and then showing them the way to a planet capable of supporting human life.

In a history class at Galactic Star Force Academy three hundred years later, humanity's ‘To The Stars’ movement is retold.  What once had started as the Confederation forces, an outgrowth of the nation America, now populates the Pegasus System, a system handed to humanity by the ShanTu people.

Two planets were teeming with human life, and people were eager to explore the stars more fully.  In one such exploration, they encountered a hostile warring species, and a battle began.

War engulfed humanity for the first time in three hundred years - this time with aliens, the BrakNar. The aliens strived to rule the Pegasus System as their system.  They sought a mere expansion of their species and the total subjugation of humanity.

Humanity had to battle overwhelming odds for the right to live.  As they defeated one alien species, a second entered the system that could end the existence of humans and the BrakNar people.

The Krang moved in to conquer the Pegasus system from humanity, not for territory but for a food supply.  In the face of devastation, even the cadets at the Academy are needed to fight.  Acts of desperation and heroism from seasoned warriors to cadets filled the stars with life and death.  On their acts of selflessness, humanity still clings.

Galactic Star Force - Battle Fleet (series name)

Liberty and Freedom - To Die For (book 3)

The Pegasus star system had become home to the survivors of humankind who had fled the destruction of life on Earth. They lost hundreds of years of peace to an alien species that views other beings as an inadequate food supply. Once teeming with billions of lives, Pegasus had dwindled to a population of only millions and harvested like cattle, those left behind lost all dignity and hope. Bred like cattle, they were forced to work or killed for resisting. Humanity had little to celebrate except their faith in salvation one day. A small force of the remaining Galactic Star Force fleet decided to pursue a rescue and wage a secret war, as they were ‘Surviving Behind Enemy Lines.’

SOL, home of Earth, the known birthplace of humanity, was civilization's cradle. Once a star system teeming with billions, it was considered nearly, if not extinct, all due to humanity's actions. Two ideologies had fled SOL as chronicled in ‘To the Stars’; one returns as the other prepares to return. SOL had come under siege by an alien species bent on dominating humans for enslaved people and harvesting the wealth of minerals detected within the SOL system. Should the KroMach defeat the Terran Space Force, humanity would become mere cattle, property to buy and sell. SOL had been home to those that had risen from the ashes of Earth’s near destruction. Now they would fight for their lives.

Humankind had fled from Pegasus to Alpha Centauri, a new home that would become the latest star system of humanity and the birthplace of the ‘Commonwealth of Free Worlds.’ A foundational system was predicated on peace, liberty, and freedom for all. Deliverance of that peace would be through military forces' strength, directed by a civilian ruling body. They were caught deciding to rescue the people left behind in Pegasus or save SOL from conquerors. Failing to protect SOL could leave a new enemy at their back door in the SOL star system. If not careful, the Galactic Star Force of Alpha Centauri would be ‘Surviving Behind Enemy Lines,’ caught between two terrible choices.

Three choices lay before the young Commonwealth government and Galactic Star Force. Whichever they selected, they would have to live with. Any of their decisions could bring total extinction to humankind. Any of their options could divide humanity in their values for making those choices. In the newly rebuilt Galactic Star Force, a new multi-species government would have to forge alliances to make a choice that didn’t involve humans.

Humanity and friends were like desperate cowboys of old Earth surrounded in covered wagons, surrounded by hostile forces. In Earth’s past, the encircled wagons were by Earth’s people fighting for their rights. Humanity, all races, now faced serious threats from outside hostile forces. Twenty-first-century television had shown many movies that heralded the coming of evil aliens whose sole purpose was to conquer, enslave, or destroy all of human life on Earth - this was real. Humanity was now on the front lines of Universal Armageddon, or so it seemed to the small band of survivors left in Alpha Centauri.

Liberty and Freedom were goals to aspire toward, envisioned by humanity as a way of life. This was best written in the ‘Constitution’ of America in the late seventeen hundreds of Earth’s history, with few Parliamentary procedures and designs as in England. Liberty and peace weren’t just words. They were ideals that would always require faith, hope, and people willing to fight and die for them.

Life Lost - Lives Saved (book 4)

The Krang constantly attacks Alpha Centauri. Continuous fleets are arriving in Alpha Centauri through the wormhole and going to Andromeda. Humans, ShanTu, and Fazuli, fight a battle that appears hopeless. The Krang appear relentless in their attempts to conquer the inhabitants of Alpha Centauri, and victory would give them a foothold in conquering the Milky Way.

Samantha Stone returns from her rescue efforts in the Pegasus star system, which is already under Krang's control. Her starships would bolster the Alpha Centauri starships but would prove inadequate to stop the Krang. Jack L. Allan’s fleet was needed.

Jack L. returns to assist the Alpha Centauri fleets ahead of his force. Freedom and Heritage considered all options to stop the Krang and found only one sure way. Someone would have to enter the wormhole and blow it up, and they would surely die. Jack L. realizes the only option to complete that would be if he and Freedom dropped depth charges in the wormhole.

Jack L. has Freedom ‘Shift’ all of the crew to Heritage and begins a run at the wormhole. As Freedom begins entry into the wormhole, depth charges are dropped and continue to drop once Freedom is entirely in the wormhole.

A massive explosion causes the wormhole to collapse, and Jack L.’s fate is unknown.

Treacherous Fires of Civil Unrest (book 1)

The Galactic Kingdom was located in the Scutum-Centaurus Arm of the Milky Way. Roughly ten thousand to fifteen thousand Light Years from SOL. It was a Kingdom of over one thousand star systems. For generations, King and Queen would send their only child (male) to some far-off star system to grow, theoretically safe from assassins in the Kingdom.

Typically the Prince would go to one-star system, and his betrothed would be sent to another to be raised - for safety. This practice has been done for generations. There was always someone who would want the new heir and future queen dead. Usually, King and Queen would have one male child to ensure no rivals to the throne.

By sheer accident, King Randolph and Queen Suzanne had four boys in one birth. Randolph came out first, then Francis, Rothchild, and finally Reginald. Eventually, the three brothers decide they want the throne and are willing to usurp King and Queen and kill the rightful heir and future bride.

Lady Michelle is in Caspra (what we on Earth call the Ursae-Majoris star system), about forty-nine light years from SOL. Prince Lee was on Earth but lost to his protectors.

The three brothers overthrow the King and kill him. They send fleets to wipe out all life in SOL to ensure they get the Prince. A star destroyer is sent to Caspra to kill Lady Michelle or wipe the planet out.

Lady Michelle and her protection force head to SOL to find the Prince. A small force flees the Kingdom in search of Lady Michelle and Prince Lee - still loyal to the crown. Queen Suzanne and a respectable force escape and head to SOL. Note: Queen didn’t flee by choice. The King intervened and had her whisked to a force to go to Prince Lee's aid.

The three brothers send fleets at staggered times to wipe out SOL. Ingenuity on the defender's part saves SOL and Prince Lee. The defeat of the three fleets puts the Galaxy on Fire.

SOL must find allies and level the playing field with the Galactic Kingdom, which has now been broken into three Kingdoms - book two takes off from here.

Earth - Into The Fire (book 2)

Three uncles from the Galactic Kingdom have attacked Caspra and SOL. Caspra was attacked as Lady Michelle was betrothed to the future king of the Kingdom. SOL was attacked as the future king. King Lee was raised on Earth.

SOL bore the brunt of the assault. Three uncles were bent on wiping out all life on Earth to ensure King Lee was killed. Each uncle sent a fleet defeated by King Lee's ‘Guardian’ StarForce, Lady Michelle's StarForce, and Captain Loran's StarForce.

Eventually, a final StarForce of Queen Suzanne arrives, and together they eliminate three hostile fleets. The three uncles have murdered King Lee's father, Randolph. A new star nation starts from the attack and grows to encompass other sentient species. Much smaller than the Galactic Kingdom, a plan has to evolve to ensure the safety of Caspra and SOL.

Trial by Fire (book 3)

SOL and Caspra had survived several attacks of the splintered Galactic Kingdom. Each star nation had become a target of the Galactic Kingdom, and continued existence wasn’t an option available to them. Destruction of both systems was the current goal of the deceased King's three brothers.

Captain Lee, the rightful heir to the throne, was raised in SOL, and his betrothed Lady Michelle was raised on Caspra . An attempt had been made on her life, and she had barely escaped and found herself plunged into confusion on a starship headed off Capra to another star system, SOL. Discovering she was selected to be the bride of a future king of something called the Galactic Kingdom. Now hunted and was on the run to see if her future betrothed was still alive.

Lee was on Earth in command of a destroyer in an Earth war. He was entrenched in a battle with a portion of the world seeking death for all non-believers. He had been raised by an American family when those who brought him to Earth died from their accident landing on Earth. The Galactic Kingdom guardian team sent with the future king had lost track of Lee’s location and had been out of contact with the assigned parental figures.

Three uncles from the Galactic Kingdom sent fleets to SOL to locate and kill Lee. Failing to find the rightful future king, destruction of all lives on Earth was the only option. Three fleets staggered from actual departure time would allow a short period between subsequent attacks to ready for the next. That could only happen if a star system with no space-faring technology could resist and destroy three significantly greater technical prowess fleets.

A miracle of good fortune allowed a Caspra contingency of starships to arrive, whose numbers had been increased when Captain Loran's force joined with hers. Three fleets had independently arrived and attacked SOL, and each had been narrowly defeated. The final with the help of Queen Suzanne from the Galactic Kingdom. She had lost her husband, King Richard, to her three brothers-in-law, and she was determined not to lose her son.

Once the battles had ended, Earth was still a survivor and the future king was located. It was time to plan for the future and let Lady Michelle and the future king, Lee, get acquainted. Lady Michelle and future king Lee could only see an end to the war, and their lives had been altered permanently. Even amidst the turmoil, a connection had begun to form. King Lee could only expect a betrothed that stood firm, even fearless. She would be a woman to reckon with.

Vampiric Wars    (series name)

In appearances, the universe was full of diverse beings, and not all were friendly. The League had just encountered Vampires, and what the League had learned were called LayChays. Now, League borders would be on a constant alert.

The League didn’t want a war, let alone a two-front war, but that became their destiny. Before the all-out war, League starships had begun a mapping process of both Vampiric societies. A war effort would require an understanding of what the League was up against.

As part of understanding both Vampire and LayChays sections of space, the League had discovered a species called Sleep Walkers, basically Zombies. The League planned to include the Sleep Walkers as an unwitting ally by appearing that they were attacking both Vampiric species.

The League had made a first strike against the LayChays and was preparing to do the same against the Vampires. At the same time, Vampires and LayChays were planning their attacks on the League.

Even as Justice was reuniting with Linder, militant factions on Eripmav planned to capture Linder, a ruling Council family member. An armed wing that would prefer going back to their roots and dining on people.

Justice had learned that for centuries, Guardians had been Guardians in name only. That would not sit well with him just watching the travesties taking place in the universe.
